Based at The Old Maltings, Westmorland Street in Hull, this highly professional industrial cleaning company has recently undergone something of a transformation. Their premises, vehicles and machinery have all been upgraded to give JPS Cleaning Ltd a fresh start and help maintain their status as a leader in the field of industrial cleaning.

The company was established in 1992 by the current directors and has been moving upwards in the industrial world ever since. The company has built up a significant reputation over the years and is called upon for help by some of the largest organisations in the United Kingdom.

Available 23^½ hours a day, seven days a week, JPS pride themselves on providing outstanding service at competitive prices, with their highly skilled personnel always on hand to meet any cleaning challenge head on. The team shares a wealth of experience and is committed to meeting all of their customers’ requirements.

Any downtime, be it extensive or brief, costs companies dearly, and JPS are fully aware of the need to get things up and running again as quickly as possible. Any jobs will be carried out swiftly and efficiently in order to keep inconveniences to a minimum.

JPS specialises in drain cleaning services, tank cleaning services, site clearances (no matter what the size or scale of the operation), marine services (including painting), shutdown work (ie Refinery, internal and external tube cleaning) shot blasting and general building clean ups including the removal of graffiti. JPS are not restricted to working in the UK, having undertaken projects in Norway and the Netherlands.

Company staff are fully trained and highly competent in the use of high pressure water jets, fork lift trucks and scissor lifts, among other things, and the health and safety of all concerned is their highest priority at all times.

In fact, the level of commitment given by JPS staff to safe working practices was acknowledged by edible oils giant, Cargill, in 2007, 2010 & 2015. JPS are the proud holders of that year’s ‘Summer Shutdown Contractor Safety Award’, given in recognition of their dedication to doing their job safely and with the greatest degree of care.

Significant refurbishment has taken place at JPS over the past year, including the extension of the firm’s offices and reception area. A fleet of brand new vans has been purchased and much of the company’s plant has also been upgraded. This means that JPS can continue to provide excellent and efficient service to its many customers, using the latest facilities and equipment.
